Powerball Ticket Worth $50,000 Set to Expire in Joplin

Jul. 25, 2024

Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in Jasper County has until Aug. 19 to claim a $50,000 prize before their ticket expires. The lucky winning ticket was sold at Kum & Go, 5002 S. Main St. in Joplin, for the Feb. 21 Powerball drawing.

The ticket matched four of the white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball number drawn that night. The winning numbers were 4, 27, 33, 41 and 42, with a Powerball number of 14.

The Lottery urges anyone who purchased a Powerball ticket at this Kum & Go location around the time of the drawing to check carefully to see if they might be holding the winning ticket.

Missouri Lottery tickets can be scanned at Check-A-Ticket machines at retail or on the Lottery’s mobile app to determine if they’ve won a prize. Draw Games winners then have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim that prize.

Any prize money not claimed by the redemption deadline is transferred to the Lottery Proceeds Fund to benefit public education.

A current list of unclaimed Draw Games prizes worth $50,000 or more can be found on the Unclaimed Prizes page at MOLottery.com.
