A Powerball ticket purchased at Wallis Petroleum, 1880 Little Brennan Road in House Springs, matched four white-ball numbers plus the Powerball number in the July 27 drawing, to win its purchaser a $50,000 prize.

The prize was claimed by Dianna Sperling of House Springs the following week.

Counting Sperling’s ticket, there have been 35 Powerball winners of $50,000 or more sold by Missouri retailers in 2019, totaling nearly $4 million in prizes.

In the most recent fiscal year, Missouri Lottery players in Jefferson County won more than $41.4 million in prizes. Retailers in the county received $3.1 million in commissions and bonuses, while $5.7 million went to educational programs. For a detailed list of programs that benefited, visit MOLottery.com.
