The Missouri Lottery has been hosting a player-submitted calendar contest dating back to 2002. The annual Calendar Contest invites players to submit their own photos for consideration, with the final publication being distributed to all 4,700 Lottery retailers across the state.
Each year, photos are submitted based on a general theme, which have included pets, parks, gardens, murals, hometowns and the great Missouri outdoors.
The theme for 2023 is "Missouri Waterways."
