An Arkansas resident was ecstatic to discover he’d won $100,000 on a Missouri Lottery “$2,000,000 Extreme Cash” Scratchers ticket. He purchased the winning ticket at Quick Stop 2, 2693 State Line Road, in Cardwell.
“I thought I was looking at it wrong,” the winner shared. “I had to do a double take!”
Once he was certain his eyes were not playing tricks on him, he realized he didn’t have a pen to sign the back of the ticket. He then quickly tucked it away for safe keeping.
“I carefully drove home. All I was thinking was, ‘Don’t lose this ticket!’” he said.
To date, “$2,000,000 Extreme Cash” players have won over $21 million in prizes. Over $29.6 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including a top prize of $2 million and two additional $100,000 prizes.
In FY24, players in Dunklin County won more than $10.5 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $825,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $925,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
