A Missouri Lottery player in Texas County won a $50,000 Powerball prize when his ticket matched four out of five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball, in the Oct. 2 drawing. The winning numbers that night were 1, 2, 21, 37 and 43, with a Powerball number of 21.
The winning ticket was purchased at Town & County Supermarket, 719 Ozark St. in Cabool, and the prize was later claimed at the Missouri Lottery’s Springfield regional office.
Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m.
In FY24, players in Texas County won more than $7.2 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $424,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $3 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
