A Missouri Lottery player uncovered a $50,000 top prize on a “Deck the Halls” Scratchers ticket he purchased at 7th Heaven, 104 W. Helm St., in Brookfield. The winner claimed his prize at the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office on Dec. 27.
In FY24, players in Linn County won more than $2.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $230,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $460,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
