Luck was with a Missouri Lottery player when the 8-Spot Club Keno ticket he purchased at Fitters 5th Street Pub, 500 S. Ohio St. in Sedalia, matched eight numbers drawn in a Dec. 17 drawing.
“I was surprised!” the winner said. “You don’t think you’re going to get it!”.
By matching those eight numbers on an 8-Spot ticket, he won a base prize of $10,000. Since he had also played the optional Bulls-Eye feature, his prize was increased to $50,000. The winnings continued to grow because Club Keno also features an additional Progressive Jackpot prize to any top-prize wins on 6-, 7- or 8-Spot games. When totaled, his final prize amount came to $52,218.
Coincidently, the same pub had another a large Keno winner less than a year ago. A Keno ticket purchased at Fritters for a Jan. 18, 2024, drawing also matched eight numbers on an 8-Spot ticket. Since the player had added the Double Bulls-Eye feature, that prize totaled $125,885.
