Someone who plays the Missouri Lottery in St. Charles County is now a millionaire. A Lotto ticket sold at Rocket, 463 Hawk Ridge Trail in Lake St. Louis, matched all six numbers drawn in last night’s drawing to win a $6.3 million jackpot prize. The winning numbers were 5, 8, 30, 32, 39 and 40.
The prize can be claimed – by appointment only – at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Springfield and Kansas City. Draw Games winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until Sept. 15.
Lotto jackpot winners may choose between two claiming options: receiving the prize in one lump-sum payment, which is approximately half of the advertised jackpot; or receiving the full amount in 25 annual payments.
Lotto drawings are held on Wednesday and Saturday nights at 8:59 p.m. The jackpot now resets to $1 million for the Saturday, March 22, drawing.
