As he was heading home with his dog, a Missouri Lottery player stopped at QuikTrip, 702 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis, to grab a Show Me Cash ticket.
“I play maybe once a month,” he said. “I had my dog with me and he helped me pick out my numbers.”
Luck was on his – and his dog’s – side because the numbers he picked would match all five numbers drawn in the Oct. 30 drawing – 1, 3, 21, 26 and 32.
“I was surprised! I had to check it a few times,” he said. “But yeah, that’s me!”
Show Me Cash is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $150,000.
Players who purchased tickets in St. Louis County in FY24 won more than $200.8 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $19.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $161.2 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
