For the 25th time this year, a Missouri Lottery player has won a prize of $50,000 or more in Jackson County. The most recent win occurred when a “Crossword Xtreme” Scratchers player uncovered one of the game’s top prizes on a ticket she purchased at Gomers, 9902 Holmes Road, in Kansas City.
The winner claimed her $50,000 prize at the Missouri Lottery’s Kansas City regional office on Nov. 6.
To date, the following winning tickets have been sold in Jackson County in 2024.
In FY24, players in Jackson County won more than $109.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $9.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $22 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
