The decision to purchase a second “$5,000,000 Fortune” Scratchers ticket at Casey’s, 200 S. Main St. in Gideon, left a Missouri Lottery player elated with her $50,000 win.
“I didn’t win on the first ticket, but something told me I should buy a second one,” the winner shared. “I took that ticket home and was tickled when I saw the ‘Win All’ symbol, then $1,000, another $1,000 and then $5,000.”
She eagerly scratched the rest of her ticket, watching as her prizes started to add up.
“I said, ‘This is going to be a good one!’”
Players of the “$5,000,000 Fortune” Scratchers game have claimed more than $46.9 million in prizes since the $50 ticket was released in May. Over $205.5 million in prizes remain unclaimed - including two top prizes of $5 million, three $1 million and 32 additional $50,000 prizes.
