A stop at QuikTrip, 3211 Clark Lane in Columbia, turned into a $100,000 win when a Missouri Lottery player purchased a “$2,000,000 Extreme Cash” Scratchers ticket.
“I was there and I just bought that one,” the winner said. “It was just a random purchase.”
He scratched his ticket off while he was still in the store, and he was shocked to find out he had won one of the game’s $100,000 prizes.
“We were so excited! We were jumping up and down in the store!” he added.
So far, “$2,000,000 Extreme Cash” players have won over $34.7 million in prizes. There are currently over $15.9 million in unclaimed prizes, including one more $100,000 prize and one top prize of $2 million.
