A Missouri Lottery player has won the first $100,000 top prize in the newly released “Extreme Green” Scratchers game. The winning ticket was purchased at On the Go, 402 Highway Business 60 E., in Dexter.
“The new ticket caught my attention, and I decided to give it a try,” the winner said.
“At first, I kind of went numb,” the winner chuckled. “Then, I started telling everyone in the store I won!”
He shared plans to put his winnings to good use.
“I plan to catch up on some bills and complete a few projects around the house,” he added.
“Extreme Green” is a $5 Scratchers ticket that was released on March 31. So far, players have won more than $1.4 million in prizes playing the game. Over $12.6 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including four additional $100,000 prizes and nine $20,000 prizes.
In FY24, players in Stoddard County won more than $6.6 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $545,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $3.3 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
