A stop at Schnucks, 2183 Charbonier Road in Florissant, led a Missouri Lottery player to uncover a $50,000 prize on a “100X The Money” Scratchers ticket.
“It was like something was telling me to ‘pick this ticket,’” the winner said. “When I got to my vehicle in the parking lot, I scratched the ticket, and it was a winning ticket!”
“I drove home and I told my wife that I had won, and she didn’t believe it at first,” he explained. “She said, ‘Oh, no. You didn’t win that much,’ and I said, ‘Yes, I did!’”
“100X The Money” players have won over $23.7 million in prizes since the $10 game was released on Feb. 26. Over $11 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including a top prize of $1 million and two additional $50,000 prizes.
In FY24, players in St. Louis County won more than $200.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $19.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $161.2 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
