A Missouri Lottery player in Greene County won a $50,000 Powerball prize when his ticket matched four out of five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball, in the Sept. 30 drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Bullseye, 8374 W. Farm Road 68 in Willard, and the prize was later claimed at the Missouri Lottery’s Springfield regional office on Oct. 3.
This is the first of three $50,000 Powerball prizes won in Missouri that night to be claimed. The other winning tickets were sold in Belton and Blue Springs.
The winning numbers for Sept. 30 were 9, 11, 30, 43 and 69, with a Powerball number of 20.
Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m.
In FY24, players in Greene County won more than $49.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $4.3 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $19.1 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
