It was a winning weekend for Missouri Lottery players, with not one, not two, but THREE players buying tickets that are now worth $1 million after the games’ respective drawings. Those winning tickets were sold in St. Louis, Taney and Marion Counties.
First, Friday’s Mega Millions drawing produced two $1 million prizes, when players in Creve Coeur and Branson matched all five white-ball numbers drawn – each just one number short of winning a jackpot prize.
Saturday’s Powerball drawing then created another $1 million winner on a ticket purchased in Taylor. That ticket also matched all five white-ball numbers drawn, missing only the Powerball number.
