A Missouri Lottery player in Pleasant Valley has joined the ranks of those who have won a $50,000 prize on the “500X” Scratchers game. The latest win comes from a ticket purchased during a stop at QuikTrip, 8600 Pleasant Valley Road, in Pleasant Valley.
So far, 30 players have won $50,000 prizes playing the $50 game. In addition, six players have won prizes of $1 million, and two more players have won a top prize of $5 million.
These wins, along with thousands of others ranging from $50 to $10,000, total up to $159.4 million won by “500X” players so far. Currently, over $98.2 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including 20 more $50,000 prizes and a $5 million top prize.
In FY24, players in Clay County won more than $29.6 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $3.1 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $10.1 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
