When a store clerk told a Missouri Lottery player he had won $50,000 in the March 10 Powerball drawing, the winner had a physical reaction.
“I thought I was going to have a heart attack when I found out I won!” he teased.
He purchased the Quick Pick ticket at Casey’s, 1354 N.W. Graham Road in Urich, and matched four of the five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball number. The winning numbers on March 10 were 17, 40, 47, 50 and 55 with a Powerball number of 6.
Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m
In FY24, players in Henry County won more than $4.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $350,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $375,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
