A Missouri Lottery player in St. Louis who won a $1 million prize on a “Millionaire Blowout” Scratchers ticket had a feeling she was going to win.
“I just felt lucky!” she laughed. “I’m shocked. I’m excited!”
She purchased the winning ticket at Mitchell’s Package Liquor & Convenience, 4674 Martin Luther King Drive, in St. Louis.
She shared plans to celebrate her win with her family.
“I’m going to have my whole family out!” she said.
“Millionaire Blowout” is the Missouri Lottery’s first $50 game and currently offers over $173.3 million in unclaimed prizes, including nine more $1 million second prizes and two $5 million top prizes.
In FY22, players in St. Louis City won more than $46.6 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received almost $4.7 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $9.4 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
