One of three $100,000 top prizes has been won on a Frogger Scratchers game from the Missouri Lottery. The winning ticket was purchased at Casey’s, 4215 S. 169 Highway, in St. Joseph.
“I actually decided to buy one because my Dad buys them,” the winner said, adding that she plans to use the money to help pay for college.
The Frogger ticket features the classic arcade game theme in its play action, allowing Scratchers players to try to maneuver their frogs through traffic and across the river to safety. In addition to offering prizes up to $100,000, the $5 game is also loaded with $25-$100 prizes.
To date, $2.8 million in unclaimed prizes remain in the game.
In FY23, Missouri Lottery players in Buchanan County – where the winning ticket was sold – won more than $16.1 million in prizes. Retailers in the county earned more than $1.6 million in commissions, and $5.4 million in educational programs were funded by Missouri Lottery proceeds.
