A Missouri Lottery player in Kansas City has claimed a $100,000 top prize in the “$100,000 Cash Payout” Scratchers game.
The winning ticket was sold at Chinatown Food Market, 202 Grand Blvd., in Kansas City. The prize was later claimed at the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office.
“$100,000 Cash Payout” is a $5 Scratchers ticket. Another top prize and one second-tier prize of $25,000 currently remain unclaimed in the game.
Through Aug. 20, players can enter their eligible Scratchers tickets into the “Choose Your Dream Adventure” second-chance summer promotion for a chance to win in the “Dream Vacation” or “Dream Green” drawings. “Weekly Cash” drawings will also be held throughout the promotion.
In FY23, Players in Jackson County won more than $108.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, while retailers received more than $9.9 million in bonuses and commissions. Educational programs in the county received more than $15.5 million.
