A Missouri Lottery player in Independence won a $303,000 Show Me Cash jackpot when her ticket matched all five numbers drawn in the Dec. 8 drawing. She claimed her prize after the first of the year at the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office.
The winning ticket was sold at QuikTrip, 4740 S. Arrowhead Drive, in Independence. The winning numbers drawn were 18, 20, 34, 35 and 39.
Show Me Cash is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m. In 2023, there were 34 Show Me Cash tickets that won a jackpot prize, with prizes averaging more than $207,000 each.
Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $63,000.
In FY23, players in Jackson County won more than $108.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $9.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $15.5 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
