A Missouri Lottery player won a $50,000 prize in the last Powerball drawing of the year when the ticket she purchased at Crownway Mart, 8501 Morganford Road in St. Louis, matched four out of five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball number. The prize was claimed on Jan.14 at the Lottery’s St. Louis regional office.
The winning numbers for Dec. 30 were 9, 19, 33, 38 and 39, with a Powerball number of 1.
In total, 39 Missouri players won prizes of $50,000 last year playing Powerball. Five additional Missouri players won $100,000 prizes when they played the Power Play option, instantly doubling their $50,000 base prize when the 2X multiplier was drawn.
