A Missouri Lottery player claimed a $50,000 Powerball prize from the Dec. 27 drawing on Jan. 10.
The winning ticket was purchased at Culver’s Cenex, 3011 N. Belt Highway, in St. Joseph. It matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn, as well as the Powerball numbers.
The winning numbers drawn on Dec. 27 were 4, 11, 38, 51, and 68 with a Powerball number of 5.
In the last year, 67 Missouri Lottery players have won Powerball’s $50,000 prize. Tonight’s Powerball jackpot is estimated to at $188 million.
In FY23, players in Buchanan County won more than $16.1 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $1.6 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $5.4 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
