A Missouri Lottery player in Lafayette County uncovered one of 40 prizes of $50,000 offered in the “$5,000,000 Fortune” Scratchers Game. He purchased the lucky ticket at Casey’s, 1999 Highway 13, in Higginsville.
In 2024 so far, Missouri Lottery players have won 119 Scratchers prizes of $50,000 or more across the state. In addition, 73 Draw Games prizes of $50,000 and over have also been won since the start of the year.
“$5,000,000 Fortune” players have won more than $34.5 million in prizes since the $50 game was released. Over $218 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including two top prizes of $5 million, three prizes of $1 million and 35 additional prizes of $50,000.
In FY23, players in Lafayette County won more than $7.2 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $399,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $918,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
