For the second time this year, a top prize of $55,558 has been uncovered on a “5X Bingo” Scratchers game purchased in Barry County. The latest winning ticket was bought by a customer at Rapid Robert’s, 914 Central Ave. in Monett, who later claimed his prize at the Missouri Lottery’s Springfield regional office on Aug. 26.
Previously, another $55,558 winning “5X Bingo” ticket was sold at Fastrip in Wheaton. That prize was claimed in March.
So far in 2024, players in Barry County have won more than $3.5 million across all prize levels playing Missouri Lottery Scratchers and Draw Games.
“5X Bingo” players have won more than $11.6 million in prizes since the $3 game was released. Over $6.2 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including one more top prize of $55,558 and one prize of $25,003.
In FY23, players in Barry County won more than $7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $595,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $2 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
