A $50,000 prize was won on a “$5,000,000 Fortune” Scratchers ticket only one day after the game was released.
“I like getting the new tickets. It seems like I have more luck with them,” the winner explained.
She purchased the winning ticket at Walmart, 1712 E. Ohio St., in Clinton.
“It was under number ‘19’ – just one $50,000 prize,” she recalled. “I was so shocked I thought I was going to have a heart attack!”
“$5,000,000 Fortune” is the newest $50 Scratchers game from the Missouri Lottery. It currently offers over $249.7 million in unclaimed prizes, including three top prizes of $5 million, three $1 million prizes and 39 additional $50,000 prizes.
Players can enter their eligible “$5,000,000 Fortune” tickets into their My Lottery® Players Club accounts for a chance to win $500 cash in the next monthly “Scratch Big, Win Big!” drawing.
In FY23, players in Henry County won more than $3.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $345,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $415,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
