For a pair of Missouri Lottery players who regularly choose an 8-Spot ticket when playing Club Keno, it was a pleasant surprise to find out they had won $51,218.
The couple purchased the winning ticket at Lulu’s Bar, Grill & Wraps with numbers they chose themselves. Because they added the Bulls-Eye option to their ticket, their base prize was $50,000. In addition, the progressive jackpot – an automatic feature on 6-, 7- and 8-Spot tickets – brought their total winnings to $51,218.
“We’re both going to put it in the bank and make it grow,” one of the winners shared.
Club Keno drawings are held every four minutes. Players choose how many Spots (or numbers) they’d like to play, between 1 and 10. Twenty numbers are then drawn, with higher prizes won with the more numbers matched. Add-on options like Bulls-Eye, Double Bulls-Eye and the Multiplier can also increase prize amounts.
The game is available at social environment locations like restaurants, bars and fraternal organizations, and it can also be played at convenience stores, grocery stores and similar Missouri Lottery retail locations.
In FY23, players in St. Charles County won more than $63.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $6.4 million in commissions and bonuses, while over $6.3 went to educational programs in the county.
