A $50,000 win on a Missouri Lottery “$5,000,000 Fortune” Scratchers ticket was “crazy awesome” according to the person who purchased the lucky ticket at Rapid Robert’s, 1357 S. Glenstone Ave., in Springfield.
“I’m still shaking about it,” the winner added.
“$5,000,000 Fortune” is the Lottery’s newest $50 Scratchers game, offering prizes that start at $75 and go all the way up to $5 million. More than 100,000 prizes of $500 are currently unclaimed in the game, as well as two top prizes of $5 million, three $1 million prizes and 36 additional prizes of $50,000.
Those who played Missouri Lottery games in Greene County in FY23 won more than $50 million in prizes. During that same period, Greene County retailers received more than $4.5 million in commissions and bonuses for selling Lottery tickets, and more than $27.6 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
