For the fourth time in five weeks, a Missouri Lottery prize of $50,000 or more has been won in Jackson County. A “500X” Scratchers ticket sold at Hy-Vee, 301 N.E. Rice Road in Lee’s Summit, held a $50,000 prize. The prize was claimed Feb. 5 in the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office.

- “Couple Can’t Contain Their Excitement Over $50,000 Scratchers Prize”
- “Player Splits $73,000 Show Me Cash Prize with Herself Using Numbers from Her Late Father”
“500X” is a $50 Scratchers ticket that first became available on May 30. To date, players have won over $89.7 million on the game. More than $167.9 million remains in unclaimed prizes, including two top prizes of $5 million, two $1 million prizes and 33 additional prizes of $50,000.
In FY23, players in Jackson County won more than $108.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received over $9.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $15.5 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
