A Missouri Lottery player in Creve Coeur was in disbelief when the “Silver 7s” Scratchers ticket she purchased revealed a $77,777 top prize.
“I bought that ticket because seven is my lucky number,” the winner explained. “When I scratched off the first prize, it was $10,000.”
Once she added all the prizes on her ticket together, she realized it totaled up to a $77,777 win.
"I was so surprised I didn't think it was real," she laughed. "I think I'm still in shock."
“Silver 7s” is a $5 Scratchers game released on March 25. It offers over $12.1 million in unclaimed prizes, including four additional top prizes of $77,777.
The winning ticket was purchased at Dierbergs, 12595 Olive Blvd., in Creve Coeur.
In FY23, players in St. Louis County won more than $207.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $20 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $76 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
