A Missouri Lottery player in St. Robert has her late mother to thank for a $50,000 win in the “$1,000,000 Black Diamond” Scratchers game.
“I’d never seen a ticket like that. It’s the kind of ticket my mother would have chosen!” the winner excitedly explained about her decision to buy the $10 black and silver iridescent ticket.
So far, players have won more than $10.3 million in the “$1,000,000 Black Diamond” game. Over $21.8 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including two additional $50,000 prizes and a $1 million top prize.
The winning ticket was purchased at Road Ranger, 22345 Highway 28, in St. Robert.
In FY23, players in Pulaski County won more than $9.5 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $955,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $715,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
