The purchase of a “$5,000,000 Fortune” Scratchers ticket brought a $50,000 prize to a lucky Missouri Lottery player in St. Louis County.
He purchased the ticket at Schnucks, 1393 Big Bend Blvd. in Twin Oaks, and later claimed the prize at the Missouri Lottery’s St. Louis office on June 13.
“$5,000,000 Fortune” is the Lottery’s newest $50 Scratchers game. Since it was released on May 28, players have claimed over $13.8 in prizes, including one top prize of $5 million. Over $238.6 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including two more $5 million prizes, three $1 million prizes and 36 additional prizes of $50,000.
In FY23, players in St. Louis County won more than $207.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $20 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $76 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
