A Missouri Lottery player in St. Louis County won a $50,000 Powerball prize when her ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers, plus the Powerball, in the Jan. 29 drawing. The prize was instantly doubled to $100,000 when the Power Play number drawn was 2.
The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip, 2105 N. Highway 67, in Florissant. The winning numbers were 39, 41, 43, 49 and 64, with a Powerball number of 4.
Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Saturday’s jackpot is an estimated $248 million.
Players who purchased tickets in St. Louis County in FY23 won more than $207.7 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $20 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs received more than $76 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
