A traveler’s stop to grab a shower at Petro Stopping Centers, 3304 Gold Road in Kingdom City, led to a $100,000 prize when he decided to purchase a “200X The Cash” Scratchers ticket while he was there.
He said he decided on that specific ticket due to the play style being one of his favorites. He wasn’t expecting to win $100,000 though.
“I was a little shocked,” he admitted before laughing.
“200X The Cash” is a $20 Scratchers game with a $2 million top prize. Players have won more than $20.9 million playing the game so far. Currently, there is still an unclaimed top prize, as well as two unclaimed $100,000 prizes.
In FY23, players in Callaway County won more than $8.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received over $789,000 in commissions and bonuses, while over $1.8 million went to educational programs in the county.
