A Missouri Lottery player won $100,000 when a “$3 Million Supreme” Scratchers ticket caught his eye at Express Mart, 518 S. Main St., in De Soto.
“Something about that one stood out,” the winner shared.
Before heading home, he decided to scan the ticket to verify he’d won.
“At first, I thought there was something wrong with the ticket,” he exclaimed. “I scanned it several times!”
Once he knew it was a winning ticket, it was hard to control his excitement.
“The whole store knew I won!” he laughed.
So far, “$3 Million Supreme” players have won more than $22 million in prizes. Over $87.5 million unclaimed prizes remain, including two $3 million top prizes and an additional $100,000 prize.
In FY24, players in Jefferson County won more than $40.6 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $3.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $2.7 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
