A Missouri Lottery player won a $50,000 prize on a “500X” Scratchers ticket he purchased at Dierbergs, 1820 Wentzville Parkway, in Wentzville.
It’s not the first time the retailer has sold a big winning ticket this year. In June, a $50,000 prize was also uncovered on another “500X” ticket at the same location.
The most recent prize was claimed at the Missouri Lottery’s St. Louis regional office on Sept. 16.
“500X” players have won more than $144.5 million in prizes since the $50 game was released. Over $113.1 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including 21 more $50,000 prizes, two $1 million prizes and one prize of $5 million.
In FY23, players in St. Charles County won more than $68.2 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $6.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $16.5 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
