A Missouri Lottery player in Stoddard County found out she’d won a $50,000 Powerball prize on her way to work.
“And I still went to work!” she laughed.
The winner shared she had bought the winning Quick Pick ticket at Bloomfield C Mart, 405 Highway 24 in Bloomfield, for the Monday, Aug. 7, Powerball drawing.
Her ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn, plus the Powerball. The winning numbers were 6, 13, 20, 35 and 54, with a Powerball number of 22.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at $264 million.

Players who purchased tickets in Stoddard County in FY22 won more than $6.3 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $559,000 in commissions and bonuses, and education programs received more than $340,000 in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
