A Quick Pick Powerball ticket turned into a $50,000 win for a woman in St. Charles County when she matched four of the white-ball numbers plus the Powerball number in the Feb. 21 drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Midwest Petroleum, 1060 Bryan Road in O’Fallon, and the prize was later claimed at the Missouri Lottery’s St. Louis regional office. The winning numbers were 4, 27, 33, 41 and 42, with a Powerball number of 14.
In 2023, St. Charles County retailers sold nine Powerball winning tickets of $50,000 or more. So far in 2024, in addition to the most recent Powerball winner, players in St. Charles County have also won three other prizes of $50,000 or more, including two Scratchers prizes and a Show Me Cash jackpot prize.
Powerball is $2 per play multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. The estimated jackpot for tonight’s drawing is $460 million.
In FY23, players in St. Charles County won more than $63.3 million while retailers received over $6.4 million in commissions and bonuses. More than $6.3 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
