A trip to East Gate Express, 22993 Professional Drive in Lebanon, ended in a $50,000 Powerball prize for Missouri Lottery player.

“It was just a Quick Pick,” the player shared.

He purchased the ticket for the Feb. 26 drawing and, after visiting MOLottery.com, he soon came to realize he’d matched four out of five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball number.

“I looked at it on the computer and thought it was $5,000 at first, but then I realized it was $50,000,” he said.

In disbelief, he took the ticket back to East Gate Express and had them double-check that he had actually won.

“She came back and told me it was for $50,000!” he shared.

The winning numbers on Feb. 26 were 24, 29, 42, 51 and 54 with a Powerball number of 16.

Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Tonight’s Powerball drawing is estimated at $559 million.

In FY23, players in Laclede County won more than $9.9 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $674,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $940,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
