A “$100,000 Cash Payout” Scratchers ticket sold at Casey’s, 6685 S. Highway 13 in Higginsville, contained a $100,000 prize.
The prize, the second top prize to be won in the game so far, was claimed at the Missouri Lottery’s Kansas City regional office on March 5.
“$100,000 Cash Payout” is a $5 game in which players have won over $7 million in prizes with an additional $7.7 million remaining in unclaimed prizes.
In FY23, players in Lafayette County won more than $7.2 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $399,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $918,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
