For the second time in two weeks, a Missouri Lottery player in St. Peters has won $1 million. The latest win comes from a Mega Millions ticket purchased at QuikTrip, 391 N. Main St., for the April 12 drawing.
The winning ticket matched all five white-ball numbers drawn – 1, 12, 14, 18 and 66 – to win the $1 million “Match 5” prize, missing only the Mega Ball number of 16.
It follows the April 2 win of a customer at Dierbergs, 217 Salt Lick Road in St. Peters, who won a $1,000-a-week-for-life prize playing Cash4Life. So far in 2024, Missouri Lottery players in St. Charles County have won a total of 11 prizes worth $50,000 or more.
Prizes above $600 may be claimed by appointment at any of the Missouri Lottery offices, which are located in Jefferson City, St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield. Draw Games winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In the case of Friday night’s winner, they have until Oct. 9 to present their winning ticket.
The jackpot for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing is an estimated $148 million.
