The excitement hasn’t waned for a Missouri Lottery couple in Adair County who won a $207,000 Show Me Cash jackpot earlier this month.
“He wakes up giggling every day,” the wife laughed. “It’s kind of crazy!”
The husband purchased a Show Me Cash Quick Pick ticket at Ayerco, 2214 N. Baltimore in Kirksville, and won the $207,000 jackpot when it matched all five numbers drawn on April 2. The winning numbers that night were 5, 12, 18, 24 and 30.
They shared plans to purchase a house with a portion of the winnings.
“It’s been very exciting,” he said. “The way things are working out is a blessing.”
Show Me Cash is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $255,000.
Players who purchased tickets in Adair County in FY23 won more than $3.2 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $315,000 in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $6.3 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
