A Missouri Lottery player’s hand-picked numbers led to a $60,000 Show Me Cash win when his numbers matched the winning numbers drawn in the May 8 drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Happy Hour, 1801 N.W. Route 7 in Blue Springs, and it matched all five winning numbers drawn: 7, 10, 17, 20 and 30. The prize was later claimed at the Missouri Lottery’s Kansas City regional office.
Show Me Cash is an in-state Draw Game that costs $1 per play with daily drawings held at 8:59 p.m. Tonight’s Show Me Cash jackpot is an estimated $499,000.
In FY23, player’s in Jackson County won more than $108.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, while retailers received over $9.9 million in commissions and bonuses. More than $15.5 million went to educational programs in the county.
