A Missouri Lottery player in St. Louis County claimed a $1.5 million jackpot prize one month after matching all six numbers drawn in the May 8 Missouri Lotto drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip, 2105 N. Highway 67 in Florissant, with the lucky number combination of 1, 2, 8, 22, 41 and 43.
Lotto is an in-state Draw Game offering jackpots that start at $1 million and grow until won. To date, Missouri Lotto jackpots have been hit 279 times. Six of those jackpot wins have taken place in 2024, awarding an average prize of more than $2.15 million.
Lotto drawings occur on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. Since the jackpot was won on Saturday, the jackpot for this Wednesday resets to $1 million.
In FY23, players in St. Louis County won more than $207.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $20 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $76 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
