A Quick Pick ticket purchased at Dierbergs, 1322 Clarkson Clayton Center in Ellisville, led a Missouri Lottery player to a Show Me Cash jackpot prize of $202,000 in the Sept. 12 drawing.
The winner checked his ticket after the drawing and realized he had matched all five numbers – 9, 20, 26, 34 and 37.
“I checked the ticket at least 10 times,” he said. “I have played other Lottery games, but I just started playing Show Me Cash about a month ago.”
He plans to use some of the money to pay off debt, then take a vacation in the future.
Show Me Cash is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $80,000.
In FY24, players in St. Louis County won more than $200.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $19.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $161.2 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
