A family tradition of giving a $5 Scratchers ticket to siblings for their birthdays led one lucky Missouri Lottery player to win a $100,000 top prize on a “Pink Panther Diamond Tripler” Scratchers ticket.
The winning ticket was purchased by the winner’s sister at Wentzville Moto, 101 Discovery Center Way in Wentzville, and given to her during a family event.
“We were all together and I started scratching the ticket,” the winner began. “When I saw the $500, I couldn’t believe it! I’ve never won that much on a ticket before.”
She could hardly contain her excitement as the prizes continued to add up.
“Then when I saw the $20,000 x 3, I fell on the floor!” she added. “This was the best birthday gift ever!”
Players of the “Pink Panther Diamond Tripler” game have won over $5.2 million since the game was released in late August. Over $5.7 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including an additional prize of $100,000 and two $20,000 prizes.
In FY24, players in Warren County won more than $7.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $477,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $4.1 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
