Club Keno

Club Keno® is a fast-action Draw Game that delivers fun every four minutes. It offers lots of ways to play and win cash with a variety of different play options that give you a chance to win up to $1 million!

Each Club Keno drawing starts with 80 numbers. Twenty (20) numbers will be drawn every four minutes. Club Keno drawings start at 5 a.m. every day and continue until 1:52 a.m. each night. Pick 1 to 10 Spots (numbers) for each game. The more numbers you match, the more you can win - all starting at just $1!

It's so easy to play Club Keno! Simply select how many Spots (numbers) you'd like to play, between 1 and 10, and the numbers for those Spots. You may also select the dollar amount you would like to play per drawing, as well as any one of the three add-on options - Multiplier, Bulls-Eye or Double Bulls-Eye®. Adding any of these options will increase both your possible prizes and the cost of your Club Keno ticket. Amounts won depend on game selections (see prize tables on "Chances to Win" page).

Know Your Options

Multiplier - Win Up to 10X More!

The Club Keno Multiplier feature gives player the option to win up to ten times more on their Club Keno base prizes.

Before each drawing, a wheel is spun to determine the Multiplier number for that drawing. The wheel includes 80 slots with the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10, representing the amount of the Multiplier. The number of slots for each number and overall chances of any number being selected are listed on the Multiplier chart below.

Club Keno Multiplier
Multiplier number Number of times each number appears on the wheel Overall chances of number
being selected
1 32 1 in 2.5
2 34 1 in 2.35
3 5 1 in 16
4 5 1 in 16
5 3 1 in 26.67
10 1 1 in 80
Chances of At Least a 2X Multiplier Being Selected: 1 in 1.67

If the Multiplier option is played and a prize is won by matching the required number of Keno numbers to those drawn (see prize chart below for details), the base prize amount will be multiplied by the Multiplier number selected. The ticket must be a Club Keno base prize winner between $1 and $100,000, and it must be labeled "MULTIPLIER PLAYED YES."

*Multiplier add-on does not apply to the Progressive Jackpot. The maximum prize on any Club Keno game is $1 million.

Bulls-Eye - Match the Bulls-Eye Number to Win More!

Match the red Bulls-Eye number to increase your prize!* Adding Bulls-Eye will double the cost of your Club Keno ticket.

One of the winning 20 numbers drawn every four minutes is the red Bulls-Eye number. Every time you play Bulls-Eye and match the Bulls-Eye number, you win bigger prizes (as listed on the prize chart below). You can win a Bulls-Eye prize even if you don't win a Club Keno prize. There are three ways to win when you add Bulls-Eye to your Club Keno play:

  1. Match your number to the Bulls-Eye number drawn with no other Club Keno numbers matching those drawn.
  2. Match your numbers to the Bulls-Eye number and additional Club Keno numbers drawn.
  3. Match your Club Keno numbers to those drawn with no Bulls-Eye number match.

*Bulls-Eye add-on does not apply to the Progressive Jackpot. The maximum prize on any Club Keno game is $1 million.

Double Bulls-Eye - Match Both Bulls-Eye Numbers to Win Even More!

Match the red Bulls-Eye and/or the green Double Bulls-Eye to increase your prize even more!* Adding Double Bulls-Eye will triple the cost of your Club Keno ticket.

During every Club Keno drawing, 20 numbers are drawn. At the end of each drawing, one red Bulls-Eye number and one green Double Bulls-Eye number are selected. Players who play Double Bulls-Eye will win cash when they match either the red or green Bulls-Eye, and even more cash when they match both the Bulls-Eye numbers! There are five ways to win when Double Bulls-Eye is added to a Club Keno play:

  1. Match the Club Keno numbers played to either the red or green Bulls-Eye numbers with no other Club Keno numbers matching those drawn.
  2. Match the Club Keno numbers played to either the red or green Bulls-Eye numbers and additional Club Keno numbers drawn.
  3. Match the Club Keno numbers played to both the red and green Bulls-Eye numbers (Double Bulls-Eye) with no other Club Keno numbers matching those drawn.
  4. Match the Club Keno numbers played to both the red and green Bulls-Eye numbers (Double Bulls-Eye) and additional Club Keno numbers matching those drawn.
  5. Match the Club Keno numbers played to those drawn with no Bulls-Eye number matched.

*Double Bulls-Eye add-on does not apply to the Progressive Jackpot. The maximum prize on any Club Keno game is $1 million.

Progressive Jackpot With 6-, 7- and 8-Spot Games

The Progressive Jackpot is available for the 6-, 7- or 8-Spot and is a rolling bonus added to the top prize for each of these games. Playing any of these games are automatically eligible, and winning the bonus requires no additional cost or marks on the playslip. If you win the top prize on the 6-, 7- or 8-Spot game, you automatically win the Progressive Jackpot bonus amount! If the Jackpot is not won during the drawing, it continues to grow. See Keno monitor for Progressive Jackpot total prize.

Progressive Jackpot bonus amounts are pari-mutuel, meaning the amount of each prize is determined by the total sales for each drawing and the number of winners in the prize category. If there are multiple winners on a Progressive Jackpot bonus amount, those winners will receive a cash payment equal to their share of that estimated jackpot.

Progressive Jackpots on Club Keno Monitors
The Keno Progressive jackpot amount is the base play for that Spot play and bonus jackpot amount. Example: The displayed Progressive Jackpot total prize shows $14,250 for the 8-Spot game on the Club Keno monitor. This is a combined total of the base top prize for the 8-Spot game ($10,000) PLUS the Progressive Jackpot bonus amount ($4,250).

How to Play Club Keno with Multiplier, Bulls-Eye or Double Bulls-Eye
Club Keno Playslip

Note that only one add-on (Multiplier, Bulls-Eye or Double Bulls-Eye) can be played on a single play.

  • Choose how many different Spots (numbers) you wish to play (from 1 to 10). For example, a 7-Spot game means you would choose seven numbers.
  • Pick up to 10 numbers from a field of 1 through 80. Or, you can choose QP (Quick Pick) to let the terminal select the numbers randomly for you. Make sure the amount of numbers you chose is the same as picked in section 1 of the playslip.
  • Select the number of consecutive games or draws you wish to play — 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 or 20.
  • Decide how much you want to play per draw for Club Keno — $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20. The Club Keno base ticket cost is equal to the number of consecutive draws chosen times the dollar amount played (for example, if you play $2 worth for five consecutive draws, the total cost is $10).
  • If you want to play the Multiplier option for the chance to win up to 10 times your prize,  select the "yes" circle next to the Multiplier option.
  • If you wish to play the Bulls-Eye option for the chance to increase your prize (see prize charts below), select the "yes" circle next to the Bulls-Eye option.
  • If you wish to play the Double Bulls-Eye option for the chance to win up to 2.5 times the prize amount of the original Bulls-Eye game, select the "yes" circle next to the Double Bulls-Eye option.
  • If you want to play Club Keno without any of these options, simply don't mark the option circles.
  • Adding Bulls-Eye or Multiplier to the ticket will double the price of that ticket. A $1 Keno wager for one draw with the Multiplier option will cost $2 ($1 Club Keno and $1 Multiplier). Additionally, your Bulls-Eye or Multiplier wager amount always equals your Club Keno wager amount (for example, choosing $2 for Club Keno for one draw costs an additional $2 if the Bulls-Eye option is chosen for a $4 total wager; in the same way, a $2 Club Keno wager costs an additional $2 if the Multiplier option is chosen). Adding Double Bulls-Eye to the ticket will triple the cost of the Club Keno ticket.
  • The maximum wager per ticket is $250; the minimum is $1.
  • Give your playslip to the retailer to process your ticket. Check your ticket to confirm that the numbers and date are correct. Your Club Keno ticket will display "BULLS-EYE PLAYED YES" if Bulls-Eye is selected or "DOUBLE BULLS-EYE PLAYED YES" if Double Bulls-Eye is selected. Alternately, if you selected Multiplier, your ticket will display "MULTIPLIER PLAYED YES."

To find out if your ticket is a winner, watch the computerized drawing on the monitor for the game you played or check your ticket on the Check-A-Ticket machine.

Club Keno base-prize winner: See the prize chart below to determine your winnings if you have matched numbers to those drawn.

Multiplier winner: If you have won and you had added the Multiplier to your play when you purchased the ticket, you have won the base prize times the Multiplier number drawn to win up to $1 million!

Bulls-Eye winner: If you have added the Bulls-Eye to your play when you purchased your ticket, and you have matched the red Bulls-Eye number, see the prize chart for Bulls-Eye to determine your prize.

Double Bulls-Eye winner: If you have added the Double Bulls-Eye to your play when you purchased your ticket and you have matched either the red Bulls-Eye or the green Bulls-Eye number, see the prize chart for Bulls-Eye. If you matched both the red and green Bulls-Eye numbers, see the prize chart for Double Bulls-Eye.

Club Keno Prizes and Chances

Payouts listed are based on a $1 wager for Club Keno and $1 wager for Bulls-Eye on one play.

Maximum payout for any Club Keno ticket is $1 million per drawing, regardless of the amount wagered. If more than five players win $1 million by matching the same amount of numbers on the same Spot play in the same drawing, $5 million will be split equally among those players.

Liability Limits

Two Missouri Lottery games - Pick 3 and Pick 4 - have liability limits, meaning players may be denied the purchase of numbers when a certain number of tickets with a particular combination have been sold. Liability limits have been placed on these games to keep the Lottery from selling more winning tickets than it can pay. The liability limit is $2 million for Pick 3 and $2 million for Pick 4. Setting liability limits is standard in the Lottery industry on games with fixed payouts.

On rare occasions, popular Pick 3 and Pick 4 numbers may "sell out" and cannot be purchased. Liability limits are reached when a large number of people have chosen a certain number combination, such as the Pick 4 combination 2-0-0-0, which was popular on Jan. 1, 2000, to mark the new millennium.

There is no need for liability limits on Lotto and Powerball numbers, since jackpots are pari-mutuel, meaning the jackpot prize is divided equally among all its winners.

The Missouri Lottery has an obligation to raise as much money for public education programs, while also ensuring that we have funds available to pay winners. To accomplish this, we must be able to limit our potential payout to an amount that we expect to reasonably pay based on the sales we generate for this game.

Wild Ball is an option that replaces any of the winning Pick 4 numbers with the Wild Ball number to create more winning combinations and more ways to win. The Wild Ball is drawn immediately following each Pick 4 drawing. Players can even win multiple Wild Ball prizes on the same play!

Example: You select 1-1-1-2 as your Pick 4 numbers, choosing Box as the play type for $1 and adding the Wild Ball option. The winning Pick 4 numbers drawn are 1-1-1-1 and the Wild Ball is 2.The Wild Ball, 2, will replace any of the lottery-drawn numbers creating three new winning combinations — in this case, 2-1-1-1, 1-2-1-1, 1-1-2-1 and 1-1-1-2  — for FOUR Wild Ball Box prizes of $380 each for a total Wild Ball win of $1,520 ($380 x 3).

Best of all... The Doubler is free! Since the Doubler feature is randomly awarded, there is no additional cost. So, you'll have the chance to double your non-jackpot winnings for still $1 per play set.

Options

image-20220520093725-1Quick Pick: Use Quick Pick ("QP") to allow the computer to choose your numbers randomly.

image-20220520093739-2Multi-Draw: Play the same numbers for up to 15 consecutive drawings by selecting "MULTI-DRAW." Powerball can be played for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 12 or 15 consecutive drawings.

image-20220520093749-3Power Play®: Power Play is a multiplier feature that allows a winner to increase their original prize amount by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 TIMES! If you choose the Power Play option and win anywhere from $4 to $50,000, your winnings will be multiplied by 2 to 10* times, depending on the multiplier number drawn at the beginning of each Powerball drawing! Power Play does not apply to jackpot prize winnings. Matching five of five white-ball numbers and not the Powerball will automatically award a $2 million prize when Power Play is chosen! Power Play costs an additional $1 per play and can be chosen by marking “POWER PLAY –YES” on the Powerball playslip or asking the retailer to enter it through the terminal.

*The 10X multiplier is available only on jackpots of $150 million or less.

Redeeming Prizes

Powerball players must redeem their prizes in the same state they bought the tickets. Because there are 48 lotteries participating in Powerball, all tickets and playslips are identified by the lottery that sold the ticket so the prize can be claimed and paid properly. If your ticket is a winner and was purchased in Missouri, click here to find out how to claim your prize.

Lump sum payment (cash) or jackpot payments (annuity)

Jackpot winners have 60 days from the claiming date to choose cash or 30 graduated annuity payments (payments that increase each year). If you do not choose an option after 60 days, payment automatically defaults to the graduated annuity option. The cash option prize is approximately half of the advertised jackpot. If you choose the cash option, you get the cash the Lottery would have invested over the 29-year period to pay the advertised prize amount.

Understanding your chances of winning

No matter how many people play Powerball, the chances of winning never change. The chances of winning are based on the amount of number combinations, not the number of players. Here's how your chances of winning the Powerball jackpot are determined.
