This position is responsible for making sure the Lottery is complying with operational and financial regulations and ensuring that the organization is adhering to Lottery policy and the Lottery’s Standard Operational procedures as well as departmental procedures and processes.

Individual will be responsible for providing customer service to players, retailers, and/or the general public and will validate and issue payment of lottery prizes; respond to e-mail and mail correspondence, as well as telephone requests; sell Scratchers and Draw Games tickets; accurately maintain cash drawer and ticket inventory; update ticket log and adjustment credit spreadsheets; and obtain winner stories.  Individual will also assist with maintaining inventory of office supplies and forms; merchandise lobby area with game information, promotions, and winner information items.

This position requires the professional and technical work necessary to develop and maintain complex application systems. Duties will include work in all areas of the software development lifecycle and problem resolution.  Candidate must be well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to guarantee availability and increase efficiency.  The technical skills required to develop applications require a combination of the following technologies: Java, Struts, AJAX, SQL Server, and SSIS.

This position is responsible for creating and executing an end-to-end test plan for the Missouri Lottery for all new applications and vendor software downloads. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that the proposed software solution works as expected in accordance with predetermined software specifications. The position is also responsible for testing and identifying problems or issues that users may have on existing Lottery mobile app, applications or game terminals.

This is an entry-level professional position in which the candidate will work as both an entry level help desk technician and as needed backup operator. Individual will help in assisting a lead technician to troubleshoot and resolve computer related issues. Individual will receive training and acquire experience in the field.
